A modernized classic with the iconic hollow body look and tone, the X-175 Manhattan Special looks as good as it sounds. Featuring an elegantly sculpted and resonant hollow body, a carved spruce top, and a three-piece neck, it updates the classic Guild Manhattan models of the 1950s and 1960s with a touch of modern style.
The secret to this model's legendary tone lies in the authentic DeArmond Dynasonic neck and bridge pickups, which deliver crisp treble and full, round bass; capturing the iconic rockabilly and blues tones from the 1950s onward. Complementing the Dynasonic pickups' tonal palette, the X-175 Manhattan Special features a Guild Vibrato tailpiece for expressive playing. Other premium features include a fully bound body, neck, F-holes, and headstock, mother-of-pearl block inlays on the fingerboard, and a hard case.
