Premium features include a fully maple body, a solid spruce center block, an ebony fingerboard, and the characteristic Guild mahogany neck with a central maple seam. This model features a Tune-O-Matic bridge with a bar tailpiece for increased sustain and stability. The Guild LB-1 Little Bucker was first introduced in 1962 as an upgrade to the single-coil pickups. Tonally, it has a bit more sparkle than a traditional PAF humbucker. Its resistance and inductance sit comfortably between a typical single-coil and a standard humbucker, contributing to the LB-1’s airy character without sacrificing warmth. The LB-1 has a unique size, placing it between a mini-humbucker and a full-sized humbucker.
