The Jackson X Rhoads RRX24-MG7 7-string is a sophisticated music-making machine, innovatively designed for modern metal and other styles that demand high-performance instruments. We have poured all our accumulated knowledge and effort into this guitar to create a beast that represents over 40 years of experience crafting extreme tools for extreme musicians.
The RRX24-MG7 features a 26.5" scale length, alder body, and a maple neck with a beveled joint and graphite reinforcement to protect against climate-induced deformation. With 24 jumbo frets and the distinctive shark fin inlays in pearl, the 12"-16" compound radius laurel fingerboard curves more sharply at the nut for easier chords and flattens near the neck joint for low-action bending without fret buzz.
Designed for an expanded tonal palette, this 7-string beast is equipped with EMG 81-7H humbuckers at the bridge and EMG 85-7H at the neck, offering powerful intensity, smooth sustain, and a fierce growl for commanding solos that cut through even the densest mixes. Control your sound with the three-way switch, two volume knobs, and one tone control. It also features rock-solid tuning stability for aggressive dive bombs or harmonic squeals with the 7-string Floyd Rose Special. Double-locking tremolo system.

About Jackson Guitars
Jackson began in the late 1970s, during a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence of heavy music. A small guitar repair shop in Southern California, operated by Grover Jackson, responded to the call with a new generation of high-performance custom guitars bearing Jackson’s name on the headstock. Since then, Jackson guitars have been universally acclaimed as metal instruments.
