The LTD Black Metal series features guitars that are comparable in build quality to our LTD Deluxe "Series 1000" instruments, but with a dark, menacing design, fully black finish, components, and hardware. They are equipped with a single premium pickup, Macassar ebony fingerboards without inlays, glow-in-the-dark side markers, and even a black metal LTD logo on the headstock.
The M-7HT Baritone Black Metal is a monstrous 7-string guitar with a 27" scale length, offering a neck-through-body construction with a lightweight alder body and a three-piece maple U-shaped neck. It features a Hipshot bridge with a string-thru-body setup for smooth sustain and stability. For brutal tones and excellent dynamics, it is fitted with a single passive Seymour Duncan Blackened Black Winter pickup, mounted directly, with a push-pull control to split the coils.
