The DiMarzio D Activator pickups deliver a powerful, clear, and open sound with excellent harmonic nuances and a tight low-end response.

The dyna-MIX 10 offers ten tonal variations and easily switches between humbucker and single-coil modes with the mini toggle switch. The Power Tap mode provides a realistic single-coil sound despite the dual humbucker pickup configuration.

Iron Label Series

With metal and nothing but metal in mind, these guitars were modified and fine-tuned until they became the most impactful metal guitars ever built. To achieve maximum playability, the super-thin, ultra-playable Wizard neck was upgraded to a Nitro Wizard—just as fast and comfortable, but with added road-tested durability. Whether 6, 7, 8, or 9 strings, all Iron Label guitars come equipped with American-made EMG or DiMarzio pickups. Deliberately stripped down, you won’t find any feature here that doesn’t directly contribute to a bone-shaking, skull-crushing sound.

About Ibanez

Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. The brand name comes from Spanish luthier Salvador Ibañez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, which closed in 1933. With the Japanese market left underserved, the importer decided in 1935 to start manufacturing Spanish guitars independently, distributing them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." The name was later shortened to "Ibanez."
