Description

The Ibanez RG2027RXL is a 7-string guitar from the Prestige series, designed for advanced technique and drop tunings. Its five-piece Wizard‑7 neck with a 27" scale length offers speed and stability, while the rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets ensures comfort and precision across the entire fretboard.

Equipped with DiMarzio Fusion Edge 7 pickups (neck and bridge), it delivers a balanced tone: controlled bass, defined mids, and clear highs, suitable for distortion and clarity in solos. The Lo‑Pro Edge 7 bridge and high-quality tuning machines guarantee stable tuning even with extensive use of the tremolo. It is ideal for dense rhythms, palm muting, fast sweeps, and precise leads, providing sustain and articulation in every register.

About IBANEZ

Ibanez is a manufacturer of guitars and basses based in Japan. Its name honors Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market was left without supply, so in 1935, the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars independently and distributed them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the brand was renamed simply "Ibanez."

About the Prestige series

There are three core principles behind the Ibanez Prestige line: precision, performance, and comfort. Prestige guitars combine high-tech manufacturing techniques with traditional Japanese craftsmanship to achieve true innovation in design and build quality. The series incorporates ideas and feedback from musicians worldwide as foundational elements of the Prestige production process.
