Description

Pioneers in the design of acoustic basses in the mid-1970s with the B-50, featuring a jumbo body shape, arched mahogany back, and a comfortable 30 3/4” scale length. Decades later, these classic features return with our B-240E, offering bassists a reliable acoustic instrument with great tone that’s easy to play.

Constructed with a solid Sitka spruce top over an arched mahogany back and mahogany sides, the B-240E stays steady during acoustic improvisations. It can also be easily amplified via an integrated Guild/Fishman BT-1 pickup system. The B-240E features a Pau Ferro fingerboard and bridge, a slim C-shaped neck profile, bone nut and saddle measuring 1 5/8”, a tortoiseshell pickguard, and an abalone rosette.
