With its X-bracing, solid Sitka spruce top, and Sapeli back and sides, the Kingman Bass is a compact, medium-sized auditorium-style model that delivers a deep, dynamic, and precise tone.
Additionally, its cutaway facilitates access to the higher frets. Its neck, made of laminated nato, is elegantly adorned with rectangular inlays. It features the “Slim C” profile of a Jazz Bass, a 30” (762 mm) short scale that is easy to play, a comfortable 1.5” (38.1 mm) wide nut, and its headstock with four aligned tuning machines gives it a distinctive look marked by Fender’s iconic electric bass DNA.
The instrument is also equipped with vintage-style open-gear tuning machines for smooth and accurate tuning, a GraphTech NuBone nut and saddle that enhance tonal accuracy, and a Fishman Presys preamp system, allowing you to refine the amplified sound when performing live or recording. A deluxe gig bag is also included.
