The popular Martin 000-28EC Signature model is a meticulously crafted tribute to the pre-war guitar Eric Clapton played during his legendary MTV Unplugged performance. Its 000-sized body delivers a balanced sound across the six strings, while the back and sides made from East Indian rosewood provide rich resonance and depth, complemented by a spruce top that adds clarity and brightness.
Its shorter 24.9" scale length, favored by Clapton, is ideal for fingerstyle playing and expressive bendings, while the modified V-shaped mahogany neck offers comfort and control.
The guitar's aesthetics are enhanced with an antique-style top finish, inlay rosette, and a high-gloss lacquer finish. Whether you're performing Slowhand's classics or your own unplugged melodies, this special edition guitar embodies Clapton's influence on acoustic music, delivering the same tonal richness and playability that defined his iconic performance and career.
