Our Opinion

We recommend the Ibanez VC40WSCE for someone looking to start with a comfortable, attractive acoustic guitar that is ready to connect right out of the box. Its size is especially suitable for students, young guitarists, or musicians who find dreadnoughts too bulky.

It is also a great practical guitar for rehearsals, lessons, small performances, or home recordings. It targets players seeking an affordable, easy-to-use instrument with the convenience of a cutaway, tuner, and built-in electronics, rather than a basic acoustic without amplification.

About IBANEZ

Ibanez is a manufacturer of guitars and basses based in Japan. Its name honors Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market was left without supply, so in 1935, the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars independently and distributed them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the brand was renamed simply "Ibanez."
