The Acoustic Model is a piezoelectric transducer that can be mounted in any position on the top of the guitar. To install the pickup, a moldable putty is used, allowing for easy installation and removal. Each acoustic guitar has its own balance of treble, mids, and bass, and it’s simple to experiment with different Acoustic Model positions to find the point that delivers the best particular sound. It can also be semi-permanently mounted inside the guitar and connected to a tip-top acoustic jack, making it virtually invisible. The Acoustic Model works on instruments with steel strings as well as those with bronze and nylon strings.
