The new KIOWA series is inspired by the Native American indigenous tribe from the Kootenay River (Oklahoma). The Kiowa tribe traditionally used animal hides from deer and bison for their clothing, but they are particularly renowned for their split leather moccasins ("split" suedes), which still bear the name of this tribe today.
