About D’Addario Flat Top Strings
D’Addario Flat Top strings feature round winding that is then precision machined to create a smooth, “semi-flat” outer surface. This results in a smooth, flattened playing surface without sacrificing the rich tone and sustain characteristic of phosphor bronze strings. Flat Top strings greatly reduce finger noise and are excellent for recording and flatpicking.
