Description

With the concept of Advanced Acoustics: "Reimagining the acoustic experience," the new shape of the Advanced Auditorium body has been carefully designed based on research into the overall shape of the auditorium body. After many rounds of prototyping, the Advanced Auditorium body features a slightly wider waist, which has been moved slightly toward the neck. Thanks to these changes, this shape offers richer mid-range tones and better balance between the body and weight, something that conventional Auditorium bodies tend to lack.

Through extensive research and development, the A.I.R.port has been designed with a unique internal structure that reflects sound waves and guides them out through a precisely positioned sound hole. As a result, players can monitor what they are playing with greater clarity, enhancing the overall experience.

After more than two years of trial and error, research, and prototyping, Ibanez developed its patented X-M reinforcement specifically for Advanced Auditorium bodies to deliver the best sound for stage and studio use. The carefully designed X-M reinforcements efficiently transmit string vibrations from the bridge to the body. This reinforcement provides a wide dynamic range and excellent response. The mid-range frequencies are slightly scooped for better tonal balance, and the treble maintains the clarity of steel strings while preserving the warmth of nylon strings.

These pivots are truly an advantage over traditional pins. The Advantage pivots are easier to remove and install than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pivot easy to grip and also prevents it from being inserted too far. Best of all, with the Advantage pivots, the string remains securely in place.

About Ibanez

Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name comes from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibañez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, which closed in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so in 1935 the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars on their own and distributed them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the name was changed to "Ibanez."
