Ashdown ABM 1200 Evo IV Head

The variable valve drive section of the preamp has been improved in the EVO IV version. By supplying more current to the 12AX7 tube, it delivers increased dynamics and harmonic content, allowing the bassist to transition from a pure tone to the richest and most complete bass overdrive available today. The Drive level can be preset and toggled on or off via a footswitch, providing access to a wide range of bright, warm, and saturated sounds.

Some of the favorite features of the ABM have been retained in the EVO IV version, including Ashdown's renowned one-button dynamic compressor, which enables powerful bass tones. This easy-to-use compressor, with high-quality sound, produces a strong and consistent tone, ensuring your bass blends seamlessly into any mix.
