The choice of materials combined with neodymium speakers makes the EBS Magni 502 one of the lightest bass combos in its class (only 15.4 kg for the 210 model, 16.5 kg for the 115!). But don’t worry: the sound is anything but lightweight. Let the sound out of the box.

Thanks to the innovative portability of the cabinet, both front and rear, this compact enclosure offers more output and bass than its appearance suggests. The dual portability helps distribute the sound evenly for a multidimensional listening experience that uses the room itself to support and spread the sound. Still, the tone is solid, with punch and precision thanks to the smooth clipping technology developed by EBS and the high-efficiency neodymium speakers.

Filters and features that make a difference

The amplifier is similar to the EBS Reidmar 502, meaning an analog preamp with powerful filters to shape the sound and a 500 W power module developed by EBS with the option to connect an additional 4 or 8-ohm cabinet if needed. It also features a high-quality XLR output for a balanced line signal from the amplifier to the FOH mixing console without the need for an external line box.
