The PRS HX 2x12 Closed Back is a guitar amplifier cabinet designed to deliver a wide, powerful, and well-defined sound. Its closed-back construction enhances punch and keeps the bass controlled, providing a full response that works especially well with British-inspired tones, from characterful clean sounds to crunch and intense saturations.

It features two 12-inch Celestion G12H-75 Creamback speakers, which deliver full-bodied bass without being overpowering, articulate midrange, and clear treble. It offers a total power handling of 150 W and an impedance of 8 ohms, making it an ideal partner for PRS HX and HDRX heads of 50 and 100 W.

HDRX

The PRS HDRX series brings together amplifiers and cabinets inspired by the British sound of the late 1960s. Its design is based on a circuit derived from one of Jimi Hendrix’s personal amplifiers, studied by Paul Reed Smith and designer Doug Sewell.
