About Manuel Rodríguez Guitars
Manuel Rodríguez, also known as MR, is a highly renowned brand in the world of flamenco and classical guitars, known for creating distinctive instruments suited for the most prominent artists worldwide, not only flamenco players. Each guitar is unique and individually crafted.
Manuel Rodríguez guitars have a long history dating back to the early 20th century. The company descends from a lineage of guitar makers founded by flamenco guitarist Manuel Rodríguez Marequi, beginning with traditional handcrafted production in Madrid. Later, Manuel Rodríguez emigrated to Los Angeles, where he built guitars for American actors and artists. In 1973, the company returned to Spain with the goal of sharing its craftsmanship with the world.
