The Iconic series, evolved from the renowned EVH 5150III amplifiers, delivers the fiery tone and roaring gain that Eddie Van Halen made famous throughout his innovative career.
Designed by renowned amplifier engineer James Brown, the 40-watt 1x12 combo of the 5150 Iconic series is powered by two EL34 power tubes and features a complex multi-stage hybrid preamp section anchored by a pair of ECC83 tubes, providing all the power a modern guitarist needs. The cabinet is constructed from MDF with specially designed internal wooden deflectors for tight, enhanced bass response, and houses a custom-designed 12" Celestion EVH speaker specifically matched to this preamp circuit, ensuring pristine cleans and high-gain tones that are tight, clear, and articulate.
