The GB Hot Rod Deluxe™ is a 1x12” 40-watt combo specially configured by virtuoso jazz guitarist and pop artist George Benson.

It features the classic 6L6 tube tone and a versatile tube preamp, including a 12AT7 front end for a cleaner sound, especially when paired with humbucker pickups. A 100-watt Jensen® C12K speaker provides the speed Benson needs for his solos with crystal-clear clarity, while the solid pine cabinet enhances tonal resonance and reduces weight. Standard features include clean and “drive/more drive” channels, Fender's rich spring reverb, effects loops, and more. Custom exterior touches specified by Benson include gray and black vinyl covering, silver grille mesh, and the “GB” logo plate. Comes with a deluxe padded cover ideal for travel and a two-button footswitch. Matching additional 1x12” speaker cabinet available separately (model 223-1400-000) for added output, fullness, and depth.
