The compressor strikes the perfect balance between allowing dynamic playing and creating smooth consistency across the entire fretboard. It can also be used simply to boost gain and enhance your overall tone whenever you want.
You can’t go wrong with the MultiComp
Compressors can be tricky to dial in. Maybe that’s why the super intuitive EBS MultiComp has enjoyed such lasting success. It’s a compressor you can’t go wrong with, requiring no sound engineering degree yet doing exactly what you want. What more could you ask for?
A sensible upgrade
There’s a major addition to the new EBS MultiComp Blue Label: a front panel control to adjust the threshold level or Sensitivity. The higher you turn the control, the greater the sensitivity. The advantage is that you can tailor the sensitivity to match your instrument’s output level or playing style. A center click marks the factory default setting from previous pedal editions, providing a reference to your old MultiComp.
More headroom
To handle high-end basses equipped with 18 V preamps that have very hot outputs, the new MultiComp Blue Label can run continuously on power up to 18 V DC. This gives the pedal enough headroom to manage even these extreme instruments while preserving dynamics.
More space on your pedalboard
The new version takes up 12% less space and is lighter to save room and weight on your pedalboard. The recessed jacks minimize the space needed between pedals.
