The Ego provides a feel that other compressors lack, as it’s designed to preserve dynamics without fully distorting your sound. With the tone control, you can boost the softer notes and increase sustain, while having the option to maintain or adjust the highs, much like studio compression. Featuring controls for threshold and a pure tone core, this compressor works perfectly as a compressor or, if you prefer, as an effects pedal.
