The Echo Master is more than just a delay unit. It uses Bourns transformers combined at the input to create a vibrant sound preamp that minimizes feedback, delivering phenomenal vocal quality even before reaching the PA system. It can also be used in other studio applications, such as miking guitars, pianos, or almost any acoustic instrument.
Controls:
- Time: controls the delay time, with numbers marked in milliseconds. In the Red Zone, the delay chip is pushed to the limit. The signal fidelity decreases as the time increases
- F-Back: controls the number of repetitions in the delay circuit, from one to infinity until oscillation wall.
- Mix: controls the level of the delayed channel relative to the dry signal, from completely dry to an equal blend.
- Send / Receive (Effects Loop): connect the send jack to any additional effect, then reconnect it to the return jack to introduce new sounds into your voice. This loop is before the delay line, allowing you to affect your dry voice as well as the delay generated by the Echo Master.
