The Phenom Distortion is a dynamic distortion pedal that uses JFET-based clipping instead of op-amp and diode clipping, freely inspired by the legendary "5150" tones. The FETs saturate similarly to how tubes do when generating distortion in an amplifier, thanks to an exclusive circuit design by Brian Wampler.

The Phenom offers a wide range of tones, from a deep, punchy rhythm sound to a super-fast lead tone, perfect for bright solos and clear harmonics. It features a flexible EQ switch that allows you to choose between bright and classic modes, independent gain and volume controls, and a powerful 3-band EQ.
