About Special Series
The Wolfgang Special features an alder body and a sturdy maple neck bolted with graphite reinforcement. The neck is shaped and rolled to Eddie Van Halen's exact specifications and has a hand-frothed urethane finish on the back. The Wolfgang Special is a music-making machine, designed with striking style, powerful sound, and high-speed playability.
About EVH
The initials EVH immediately bring to mind the flamboyant riffs and solos of guitarist Edward Van Halen. Alongside Peavey, Eddie collaborated on the creation of his signature guitar, the EVH Wolfgang, named after his son. Later, in 2009, he launched his own signature line, which is still endorsed by Fender today.
