About Special Series
The Wolfgang Special features a lightweight alder body and a sturdy bolt-on maple neck reinforced with graphite. The neck is carved and rolled to Eddie Van Halen’s exact specifications and has a hand-rubbed urethane finish on the back. The Wolfgang Special is a music-making machine, designed with stunning style, powerful sound, and high-speed playability.
About EVH
The initials EVH immediately evoke thoughts of the flamboyant riffs and solos of guitarist Edward Van Halen. In collaboration with Peavey, Eddie helped create his signature guitar, the EVH Wolfgang, named after his son. Later, in 2009, he launched his own signature line, which continues to be endorsed by Fender to this day.
