Our Opinion

The S2 Standard 22 is one of the most direct and practical PRS models in the S2 lineup. Without a maple top, it has a more understated character focused on the mahogany body: prominent midrange, warm tone, and a very responsive sound suitable for both direct amp connection and pedal use.

It’s an excellent choice for those wanting an American PRS without the premium finishes or complex configurations. The 22 frets, Pattern Regular neck, and 58/15 LT pickups make it comfortable, versatile, and with a classic vibe that fits well in rock, blues, pop, and styles where tone takes precedence over elaborate specs.
