Built with a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany sides, and a carved mahogany back, the powerful, full-bodied dreadnought tone offers players a classic acoustic sound with balanced volume. Guild’s distinctive carved back design delivers great volume and projection, sustained notes, and a rich, full sound. The D-240E features Guild's Fishman GT-1 pickup system, a Pau Ferro fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, mother-of-pearl rosette, vintage-style tortoiseshell pickguard, and a matte polyurethane finish.
