Description

Inspired by the historic “Rex” line of instruments offered via mail-order catalogs in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s, the Jim Dandy models embody the charm and spirit of those early flat-top Gretsch guitars, with superior playability and top-quality craftsmanship. Class-leading tone right out of the box With a specially designed sloped shoulder body shape and a modest 24.75" scale length, the Jim Dandy Deltoluxe Dreadnought offers a refreshing, comfortable, and compact form factor without sacrificing the volume, projection, and bass response that make Dreadnought guitars so revered.

The X-braced body is crafted from lightweight laminated tonewoods chosen for an optimal balance between vintage wood tone and reliable durability, while the "C" shaped neck offers a comfortable feel for hours of vintage-inspired playing. The built-in Gretsch Deltoluxe magnetic pickup provides versatile amplified acoustic tone, adding utility for live performances, recording, and effects pedals.
