Perhaps the most revered vintage D-28s are those built in 1937. This guitar features hand-slotted X bracing shifted forward, Adirondack Red Spruce top, and a 1 3/4" neck width. This addition to the Authentic series is a recreation of the original. The 1937 model is offered with Madagascar rosewood back and sides. The new VINTAGE TONE SYSTEM (VTS) from Martin is used for the top and braces.
