Our Opinion
If you're looking for a simple, serious acoustic with a solid sound foundation, the Cort Earth 100 NS is a highly recommended option within its price range. The solid Sitka spruce top is one of its strengths, as it provides better response and projection than laminated tops—especially valuable for students, recording ideas, or performing in acoustic settings with a full-bodied sound.
We find this guitar very well balanced for strumming, accompaniment, and light fingerpicking. It does not include electronics or a case, so it’s not the most comprehensive in accessories, but its appeal lies precisely in focusing on what matters: solid acoustic construction, dreadnought shape, classic tonewoods, and a natural sound at an affordable price.
