The Martin HD28 model is a modern update of the classic, legendary, and iconic D28. Also built with a Sitka Spruce top, this model features Adirondack scalloped bracing, which enhances the resonance of the soundboard for a more powerful projection.
It has solid Indian Rosewood back and sides and a "Select Hardwood" neck with a 20-fret Ebony fingerboard. The neck has a low-profile, oval-shaped contour, making it more suitable for modern playing styles, while details like its Herringbone binding add a touch of elegance, showcasing a truly superior instrument.
