Description

The Martin D41 is one of those guitars that captivates with every chord. Built entirely from solid wood, it features a Sitka Spruce top with scalloped bracing, and Indian Rosewood for the sides and back. Its Dreadnought body shape, combined with these materials, delivers an exceptional projection of each frequency and sound produced. The resonance opens up and fills the room as you would expect from a Martin of this caliber, and even more.

Additionally, its Abalone inlays on the binding and rosette, along with the "hexagon" shaped markers on the 20-fret Ebony fingerboard, and every detail, contribute to the D41’s aesthetic beauty and the sound of some of the finest instruments made today. It features traditional open-back tuning machines. Includes a hardshell case.

These legendary guitars and the artists who played them helped establish country, folk, bluegrass, and rock. Today, you can hear the tone of these guitars in the American soundscape and around the world.

Handcrafted in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, from solid wood using traditional construction methods such as dovetail neck joints and X-bracing, Martin’s Standard Series guitars are likely the instruments your musical heroes used to create your favorite songs—a tool whose impact on music is immeasurable.
