Description

This is a great collection of building blocks because it is effective in many different situations. Try it in the neck position with a more powerful bridge pickup: anything from a Norton to an X2N will create a good combination of two humbuckers. As a bridge pickup, it works really well with single-coils because it won't drown them in too much power, and it's bright enough to blend with the tone.

About DiMarzio

The impact of DiMarzio pickups goes far beyond providing musicians with a new and powerful way to shape their sound. DiMarzio pickups literally made it possible for the next generation of guitar builders to challenge the status quo.

In simple terms, DiMarzio pickups propelled instruments from Ibanez, Hamer, Charvel, BC Rich, Dean, Spector, Jackson, Sadowsky, SD Curly, and helped create a new sound. DiMarzio’s fresh and often radical ideas were a key component for guitarists and builders looking toward the future. DiMarzio pickups were embraced by an incredibly talented generation of musicians who used them to redefine the technical and sonic boundaries of the instrument. DiMarzio helped give voice to their sonic expression. And that’s exactly what Larry DiMarzio continues to do today.

About DIMARZIO

DiMarzio is an American brand specializing in pickups for electric guitar, bass, and acoustic instruments, as well as accessories like straps, cables, and hardware. Founded by Larry DiMarzio, it is a key name in the history of modern guitar: its Super Distortion, introduced in the 1970s, is considered one of the first high-performance replacement pickups and helped define the sound of rock and hard rock. Today, it remains a reference for musicians seeking to modify, enhance, or personalize their instrument's tone with reliable, powerful, and highly regarded pickups.
