We found that by using a ceramic magnet in the PAF 7, we could achieve the same string attack as Alnico 2 or 3, with the power of Alnico 5. The ceramic magnet keeps the bass strings bright and clear, while the Virtual Vintage winding technology is responsible for the warm highs and feel of the '50s humbuckers.
