The Fast Track T is more powerful than most single-coil bridge Tele pickups, but it has much more attack and snap than a typical humbucker. DiMarzio achieved this by combining proprietary dual-resonance coils (less DC resistance than a standard Tele single coil) with dual-blade poles for less string pull than standard rod magnets. The result is increased sustain, cleaner highs, and tighter lows. It may not look like a traditional Tele bridge pickup, but if your goal is exceptional performance without hum, the Fast Track T is a clear winner.
