The PRS Tremonti Bridge Pickup is a high-output passive humbucker developed in collaboration with Mark Tremonti to achieve a powerful, articulate, and balanced sound. Its quick, punchy response ensures that each note remains clear even when using drop tunings, saturated amplifiers, and high gain levels.
Known as Tremonti Treble by PRS, it delivers tight bass, aggressive mids, and well-defined treble that help riffs and solos stand out in the mix. Despite its high output, it maintains dynamic responsiveness and good note separation. Its wiring options include different electronic configurations, such as three-way switches, push-pull systems, and five-way selectors.

Our Opinion
This pickup is ideal for players who need each riff to come through with power and clarity, even with high gain or drop tunings. It has a very high output but doesn’t make the sound overly thick or difficult to control: it maintains attack and allows each note to be distinguished. We especially recommend it for hard rock and metal, although it also performs excellently in powerful solos where sustain and presence are desired.
