- DiMarzio has been working on designing a vintage single-coil pickup without hum for eight years. Our goal has always been to capture the best qualities of the pickups we heard in the 1950s and early 60s. We played with several early 60s pickups that had a unique tone: metallic, yet still woody. Naturally, we wanted to nail this sound, and we aimed to do it without hum and with less magnetic pull.

Works well in all three positions, and it’s a perfect bridge pickup paired with a set of 58s if you want to go Nashville to Texas style on a guitar.
