Description

Billy Corgan BC-1-

Series: Single Coil Pickup for Electric Guitar

- Output in millivolts 290 | Treble 4.5 | Midrange 6.5 | Bass 7

- When we started working with Billy Corgan on the pickups for his Strat Signature, we sent him several models to try. He liked the Air Norton S in the neck position, the Chopper T in the middle, and the Tone Zone S at the bridge. After playing with them in several concerts, he requested some changes to the neck and bridge pickups. He wanted a deeper low-end string sound without losing any punch, and he didn’t want the tone to get muddy with high-gain amps. To achieve this, we reduced the frequency response of one coil in each pickup just enough to boost the bass while opening up the mids. The final results are the pickups now installed in Billy’s Strat Signature. They do exactly what he wants in humbucking mode and he also found they work great in split-coil mode. Recommended for neck position. Color: White.
