D'Addario is a manufacturer of musical instrument accessories, best known for producing electric guitar strings. In addition to strings, they manufacture and distribute all kinds of accessories (straps, cables, etc.) for musicians under the Planet Waves brand. The company originates from a family of craftsmen from a small Italian village called Salle, located in the province of Pescara.
