Our Opinion
These strings make a lot of sense for guitarists seeking a firmer feel than a standard 10-46 set, without moving into excessively heavy gauges. The 11-48 works very well with single-cut guitars, standard or half-step-down tunings, and styles that require punch, sustain, and stability.
The key feature is the Paradigm construction with RPS reinforcement, which makes them more durable than a standard Slinky set. They wouldn't be our first choice for players seeking a very soft feel, but for rock, hard rock, and guitars with Tune-O-Matic bridges, they are a very consistent option.
