About Jackson Guitars
Jackson began in the late 1970s, during a resurgence of extravagant and virtuosic heavy metal music. A small guitar repair shop in Southern California, operated by Grover Jackson, responded to the call with a new generation of high-performance custom guitars bearing Jackson's name on the headstock.
