The D-X1E acoustic-electric features the iconic Dreadnought body shape, now available in two attractive high-pressure laminate (HPL) patterns: koa or mahogany. Both the top and back and sides are made of HPL, providing durability and the classic Martin style, while enhancements to the feel include a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled edge, refined string spacing, and a modernized bridge contour for a smooth and comfortable playing experience.

Its signature size delivers a strong, projecting sound with powerful lows, making it suitable for any genre and skill level. The D-X1E also features satin tuning machines and Martin E-1 electronics, which include a built-in chromatic tuner and volume, tone, and phase controls, allowing you to plug in and play at any volume.
