The ACS combines classical guitar concepts with design elements of a solid-body guitar. The incredibly comfortable neck of the Multiac ACS, paired with a maple body and an Extreme Koa top, makes it our most aesthetically beautiful guitar with synthesizer access. Although the body has a chamber, the response of the Koa top is more typical of a solid-body guitar than a traditional acoustic guitar.
This design results in an instrument that is virtually feedback-free, making it easy to play even at high volumes. The ACS and ACS Slim systems include individual transducers powered by a custom RMC preamp system. This setup not only delivers excellent amplified sound but also provides a hexaphonic output via a 13-pin connector, allowing direct access to RolandTM GR-Series guitar synthesizers.
