Slim refers to the nut width of 1.715", nearly identical to that of standard electric guitars. If you regularly play with a guitar that has a fairly narrow neck (most solid-body electric guitars), the ACS -SA Slim is perfect for you.
The slim neck of this guitar, combined with our Ergocut shaping technique and a 16" fingerboard radius, makes it very easy to play for guitarists who use steel strings and want to incorporate nylon-string guitar sounds into their music. In addition to the new neck, the ACS-SA Slim shares all the features that have made the ACS-SA a standard. The chambered maple body with a cedar top results in an instrument that is virtually feedback-free, making it easy to use even at very high volumes.
