Khaya, also known as African mahogany, is used as a solid top and as the back and sides of this guitar. It was chosen for its unique sound characteristics: smooth bass, prominent mids, and delicate highs. Consequently, the three versions of the T98 (dreadnought, auditorium, and parlor) offer a warm, deep tone that blues and roots music enthusiasts will enjoy, regardless of their playing style: fingerpicking, flatpicking, or soloing.

Inspired by southern France, each guitar features iconic design elements such as the Occitan cross, elegant oval rosettes, and quarter-circle binding for unparalleled playing comfort and visual appeal.
