The M-240E features a solid Sitka spruce top paired with a carved mahogany back, a classic wood combination that delivers a well-balanced tone with plenty of nuances. Other features include bone nut and saddle, a tortoiseshell pickguard, nickel-plated tuning machines, a Fishman GT-1 preamp system, and a satin polyurethane finish.
