With the concept of Advanced Acoustics: "Reimagining the acoustic experience," the new body shape of the Advanced Auditorium has been carefully designed based on research into the overall body shape of the auditorium. After many rounds of prototyping, the body of the Advanced Auditorium features a slightly wider waist, shifted subtly towards the neck. Thanks to these changes, this shape provides richer bass response and better balance between the body and weight, addressing a common shortcoming of conventional Auditorium bodies.

Through extensive research and development, the A.I.R.port has been designed with a unique internal structure that reflects sound waves and guides them out of a precisely located sound hole. As a result, players can monitor what they are playing with greater clarity, enhancing the overall experience.

After more than two years of testing, research, and prototyping, Ibanez developed its patented X-M bracing specifically for Advanced Auditorium guitars to deliver the best sound for stage and studio use. The carefully designed X-M braces efficiently transmit string vibrations from the bridge to the body. This bracing provides a wide dynamic range and excellent response. The midrange is slightly scooped for better tonal balance, while the treble maintains the brightness of steel strings with the warmth of nylon strings.

The Macassar Ebony back and sides give this guitar an exotic appearance. Macassar Ebony offers deep, full-bodied bass and bright treble tones.

The Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp provides extra power with its built-in EQ, along with a convenient, easy-to-read digital tuner and a 2-band EQ located on the upper bout of the instrument.

The Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup accurately translates that rich sound to any amplification system it’s connected to.

These saddle pins are a real advantage over traditional pins. The Advantage saddle pins are easier to remove and install than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents it from going in too far. Best of all, with the Advantage saddle pins, the string stays in place.

About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name derives from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibañez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, which closed in 1933. The Japanese market was left without supply, so in 1935 the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars on its own and distributed them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the name was changed to "Ibanez".
