Description

With the concept of Advanced Acoustics: "Reimagining the acoustic experience," the new shape of the Advanced Auditorium body has been carefully designed based on research into the overall shape of the auditorium body. After numerous rounds of prototyping, the Advanced Auditorium body features a slightly wider waist, shifted subtly toward the neck. Thanks to these changes, this shape provides richer bass response and better balance between the body and weight, addressing common issues found in conventional Auditorium bodies.

Through intensive research and development, the A.I.R.port has been designed with a unique internal structure that reflects sound waves and guides them out through a precisely located sound hole. As a result, players can monitor what they are playing more clearly, enhancing the overall experience.

After more than two years of trial and error, research, and prototyping, Ibanez developed its patented X-M reinforcement specifically for Advanced Auditorium body guitars to deliver the best sound for stage and studio use. The carefully designed X-M bracing efficiently transmits string vibrations from the bridge to the body. This reinforcement provides a wide dynamic range and excellent response. The midrange is slightly cut for better tonal balance, and the treble maintains the clarity of steel strings while preserving the warmth of nylon strings.

The Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp provides additional power through its built-in EQ, along with a convenient, easy-to-read digital tuner and a 2-band EQ, all located on the upper bout of the instrument.

The Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup accurately reproduces that full sound to any amplification system it is connected to.

These saddle pins are a real advantage over traditional pins. The Advantage saddle pins are easier to remove and install than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents it from being inserted too far. Best of all, with the Advantage saddle pins, the string stays in place.

About Ibanez

Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name comes from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibanez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, which closed in 1933. The Japanese market was left without supply, so in 1935 the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars on their own and distributed them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the name was changed to "Ibanez."
