Description

Inspired by the historic “Rex” instrument line offered by mail-order catalogs in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s, the Jim Dandy models embody the charm and spirit of those early flat-top Gretsch guitars, combined with exceptional playability and the premium Tone that lives up to its name. With a comfortable, compact concert body shape and a modest 24.75" scale length, the Jim Dandy Concert strikes the perfect balance of versatile tone and accessible playability suitable for a wide range of musical settings.

The X-braced body is crafted from lightweight laminated tonewoods carefully selected to provide an optimal balance between vintage wood tone and reliable durability, while the “C” shaped neck offers a comfortable feel for hours of vintage-inspired creativity.
